The Fairfax CERT Canteen is one of only four Canteens in Fairfax County. Our award winning CERT Canteen Team provides nutrition and hydration to Fairfax County first responders whenever and wherever we are needed. Sometimes it’s emergency call outs to a fire ground in the middle of the night; sometimes it’s a pre-planned event such as a day-time drill; and eventually, we hope to incorporate pre-planned shifts. Each deployment consists of one driver and one crew member in one of our two Canteen vehicles.

The CERT Canteen Team is open to Basic-trained CERTs with a willingness to take care of our first responders. Members must complete various specialized training and a background check.
